The feeling?
Nerves and excitement are high as we leave the resort.
The sights?
A more authentic Dominican Republic with people out on the streets.
Fruit vendors, street food, and communities sharing a good laugh.
The arrival?
Warmest greeting you'll ever get.
What's next?
Didn't take long to be put to be given a task.
Mixing cement, painting, carrying supplies, laying bricks.
The project?
Construction of the second floor to a community centre built by previous S-Trip! travelers.
The purpose?
A future Boys & Girls club offering learning opportunities outside the classroom.
What else?
Community tour and clean up
Anything else?
Playtime, tickle fights, hairbraiding. Memories shared and made.
One thing you'd tell future travelers?
Sign up, show up. One of the best days of Grad Trip. Hands down.
