Passport: A passport is recommended, but not required for Canadian citizens traveling to Mexico. A Driver's License or Health Card as well as a document proving Canadian Citizenship [Birth Certificate] are required for passage to Mexico and reentry into Canada. Note: All passengers connecting through the United States require a valid Canadian or American passport as of January 23rd.
Visas: A 180 day Mexican government tourist card (Tarjeta de Turista), normally required for all tourists traveling to Mexico is included in the price of the Student Trip package.

Located directly on Acapulco 's main beach and close to all of the attractions of downtown, this is the most lively hotel in Aca! Lounge at the pool or one of 3 Jacuzzis or check out the beach club for volleyball and kayaking. With poolside entertainment from morning until night, this hotel is always a ‘fiesta'!

Things To Do:
 
Bull Fights: Traditional South American bull fights are held every Wednesday in the heart of Acapulco. Come and watch authentic matadors as they test their speed and skills.

Shotover Jet Boat: Climb aboard this water propulsion powered speed boat, and cruise through the water at over 90 km/hr. Then slow it down, and take a tour through the interior of Acapulco’s river system.

Silver Markets: Come and find unique Silver jewelry in one of Acapulco’s Silver markets. Because Acapulco is home to some of the biggest Silver mines in the world, these markets are sure to provide some eye catching accessories.

Deep Sea Fishing: Take the day off and travel into the Caribbean Sea to fish for sharks, Red Snapper, Groupers, and other abyssal sea creatures. After you’ve conquered the seas, enjoy your catch cooked by the on board chef.

Parasailing: With a specialized parachute and a powerful speed boat pulling you along, you’ll rise over 100 ft. above Acapulco’s sandy beaches.

Snorkeling: Like any Caribbean destination, Acapulco hosts some immaculate underwater life. With submerged caves, ancient shipwrecks, and a plethora of sea creatures, the waters of Acapulco are ideal.

Traditional Mexican Wrestling: Visit the Arena Coloseo and be a spectator at a classic pro luchador(wrestling) match.

Things To See:

Fuerte San Diego: Home of the Acapulco City Museum, this antiquated fort teaches the history of how Acapulco became such an integral part of Mexico.

Cliffdivers: Just outside the city of Acapulco rests La Quebrada, a cliff where fearless men plunge over 200 ft. into the churning water below.
